Messy Church

The next Messy Church is fast approaching. Come along to Romsey Baptist Church on Saturday 26th May from 4-6pm to find out why Jesus said “I am the Vine”. There will be craft, challenges (apple bobbing, anyone?), songs and stories, finished off with a delicious tea. We look forward to seeing you then!

Facts about Messy Church

It is:

  • an all-age church where everyone is valued equally

  • an informal environment where everyone can explore their God-given creativity and get to know people in a relaxed atmosphere

  • an opportunity to discover and discuss stories from the Bible and matters of faith and worship, acknowledging that no-one has all the answers and that questions help us grow

  • a place where we make, play, celebrate God and eat together

  • for everyone, as no-one has a perfect life, and each of us leads messy lives for many reasons.

It is not:

  • a kids club. All children must be accompanied by an adult

  • just for those who like craft. If you don’t like making, why not visit the games room, or have a chat over a cuppa.

  • Only for those who have a Christian faith or some kind of church connection.

Messy Church is for everyone, to share messy lives, messy making, (messy!) food, to have a place to belong, learn about God and have fun.
